When I visited Puri Agung, Ubud, Bali, people were preparing for the traditional-Hindu death ceremony called “Ngaben”. They make a huge thing (dont know what’s the name) with colorful ornaments, masks, and statues to burn the death body. But she just doesn’t really think about it.
She loves her career
She loves her childhood dream.
But she doesn’t want to leave him either
She sometimes thinks move away just to get close with him
She knows it will all be worth it to reach her happiness
She knows that she will be so devastated if she knows that he has moved on with other person
She doesn’t know what to do now
She thinks she will wait for him
But maybe she won’t
It’s been a year
And she hasn’t changed a thing
It’s all because of her trust
She could say anything, do anything
But deep down, she knows she only trust him in this world
And she hasn’t found any reason to move on
OMG OMG I really must write about this.
So this is time for another movie review from me. Like usual, I always observe the picture of gender-relations in every movie I watch.
I watched this movie two times. First with my sister, not 3D. Second time alone, 3D. The second time I watched the movie was very random. I was doing some shopping at a mall and then saw the cinema plays Iron Man 3 in 3D. The seat for the closest playing time is full at the time, so I watch ed the next time schedule. And guess what, even for the next schedule, I only got seat in the edge of theater as the seats in the middle were full. But thank God the view is still perfect.
I compare Iron Man 3 with The Transformers saga, instead of The Batman series (Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises). Because this movie focus more on the special-effect just like The Transformers, while those Batman series focus more on its story plot.
I do love Iron Man 3 compared to The Transformers. Well, I hate Transformers (except for its special effect) because it portrays woman as only a partner of the main character and can’t do anything beside screaming and running with heels. And I hate its fake picture of woman can running in the middle of ruins and robot fight with heels !! Cmon !! While Iron Man 3 portrays that women can also be the superhero. In fact, the woman is the genius in this movie.
Speaking from the story plot, Iron Man 3 is kinda boring. The idea is there is a superhero, there is a bad villain, and in the end the superhero is always win. The background of this movie is…USA…surprise surprise.
But I love how this movie portrays Tony Stark can do anything even without his suit. I don’t like superhero who is really dependent to their suit and nothing without their suit.
The music was great ! I love the opening “I’m Blue (da ba dee)” by Eiffel 65. I heard that song since I was elementary school, and I loved it since !! I am glad I can finally hear it again in this movie. I was like “awwww….this is my song since I was little…” And now I get to thinking, that movie is perfect for the 1999 scene in the movie !! Because it’ll be awkward if you play 2012 song for that scene, rite ? Great song choice !!
And I also love the closing song. It has a super-hero spirit, with additional jazz on it.
Another thing I like about this movie is there is no sex scene !! There was not even a kissing scene between Tony Stark and Pepper, and I like it. Because I terribly don’t like sex scene. For me sex is personal and no need to expose it in public. Ewwwww…
The best thing from this movie is, of course, Robert Downey Jr. !!! OMG I love this guy. Not because of his looks at first. Cmon. He’s old. But because of his cool personality. And his persona…arrggghhh…adds the awesomeness of this movie until 100% !!
This movie is totally worth to watch. And don’t forget to watch the extra scene after the credit ;)
